Who is JAMIE?

I’m a vocal coach, specialising in musicianship, strong on-stage performance and emotionally driven singing! I have proficiency across five instruments (vocals, piano, guitar, bass and drums), and I have been singing for over 10 years.

I have extensive experience performing in a wide range of venues and environments across Australia, including John Cain Arena and the Crown Palladium. Through my experience in gigging, competitions and creating music content, I bring a high level of industry knowledge, along with a passion for helping those around me grow.

What is JAMIE’S Teaching Style?

My main aim is to lead my students to a point where they feel knowledgeable about their own voice and comfortable embracing their own uniqueness. I love having fun when I sing, and that directly translates into my teaching style. I want to make singing a fun experience just as much as it is an informative one.

I coach each student individually, as everyone has different levels of confidence and comfort in different areas of their voice. However, the main pillars of my teaching style are achieving technical excellence, embracing uniqueness, and becoming a confident, assured performer.

WhAT INSPIRED HIM TO BE A SINGING TEACHER?

Vocal coaches have the ability to change your life. I have had many coaches who have nurtured and guided me into becoming not only the artist I am today, but also the person I am today.

Hearing that I have made a difference in people's lives and careers is a huge motivator for me, and it inspires me every day. This role aligns so closely with my values, which is why it is so important for me to share my expertise and guidance with my students.
